Sheridan won the last time they faced North Montgomery and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Blackhawks blew past the Chargin' Chargers 3-0. The win was some much needed relief for the Blackhawks as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

Sheridan never let North Montgomery on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-23, 25-14.

Lainey Mendenhall paced Sheridan's offense, picking up 26 kills. Mendenhall got some help from Adria Jump and her 30 assists. Beth Adams controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Despite the defeat, North Montgomery saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Paisley Gillan had 11 digs and two aces.

Sheridan's victory bumped their record up to 14-8. As for North Montgomery, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-16.

Sheridan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Tri-Central on the 9th. As for North Montgomery, they will take on Monrovia in a tournament on Saturday.
