Basketball Recap: Saranac Lake Comes Up Short

After flying high against AuSable Valley last Monday, Saranac Lake came back down to earth. The Saranac Lake Red Storm fell just short of the Beekmantown Eagles by a score of 45-43 on Wednesday. The Red Storm have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Saranac Lake's loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Beekmantown, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-7.

Coincidentally, Saranac Lake and Beekmantown will both be playing Moriah the next time they take the court. Saranac Lake will host Moriah at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Beekmantown will head out to face them at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
