Basketball Game Preview: King Mustangs vs. Seguin Matadors

The King Mustangs and the Seguin Matadors will round out the year against one another at at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

King is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Friday. They took a blow against Ray, falling 94-61. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 852nd, while the Texans are ranked 285th).

Meanwhile, Seguin was just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 59-58 to Jefferson. The Matadors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

King's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Seguin, their loss dropped their record down to 7-10.
