Softball Game Preview: Milpitas Trojans vs. Wilcox Chargers

Milpitas is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Wilcox a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. The Milpitas Trojans will host the Wilcox Chargers at 4:00 p.m.

Milpitas is headed into the match having just suffered their closest defeat since March 13th on Tuesday. They fell just short of Los Gatos by a score of 6-4.

Chloe Cabrera made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wilcox). Everything went their way against Gunn on Tuesday as they made off with a 15-1 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Chargers as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Milpitas' loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Wilcox, their win bumped their record up to 8-15.

Everything went Milpitas' way against Wilcox when the teams last played back in April, as Milpitas made off with a 12-0 victory. Do the Trojans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Chargers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
