Football Game Preview: Abraham Lincoln Railsplitters vs. West Philadelphia Speedboys

The Abraham Lincoln Railsplitters are taking a road trip to square off against the West Philadelphia Speedboys at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Abraham Lincoln will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

On Saturday, Abraham Lincoln was fully in charge, breezing past Northeast 39-8. Given the Railsplitters' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 106th, while the Vikings are ranked 289th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, West Philadelphia fell victim to Imhotep Charter and their airtight defense on Saturday. They took a blow against the Panthers, falling 50-0. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Speedboys were not able to get on the board.

This is the second loss in a row for West Philadelphia and nudges their season record down to 2-4. As for Abraham Lincoln, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.
