Westfield waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 15-5 margin over the East Longmeadow Spartans. The result was nothing new for the Bombers, who have now won 12 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Westfield pushed their record up to 15-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for East Longmeadow, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 14-5 record.

Westfield didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-0 victory against Westport on the 1st. As for East Longmeadow, they have also already played their next match, a 9-6 defeat against Somerset Berkley Regional on the 2nd.
