Greenfield/Northwestern came tearing into Saturday's contest with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Gillespie Miners. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 back in August.

Lakely Albrecht paced Greenfield/Northwestern's offense, picking up nine kills. Albrecht got some help from Jill McAdams and her ten assists. Annabeth Thornton and Adeline Lansaw kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.
