Recap: Sickles Gryphons vs. Alonso Ravens
The Sickles Gryphons can now show off 15 landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Tuesday. They really took it to Alonso for the full four quarters, racking up a 95-12 win on the road. Sickles' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Sickles' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Beckham Hockley led the charge by going 6 for 13 from beyond the arc en route to 33 points and 7 assists. Hockley has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last 15 times she's played. Kelsey Sharpe was another key contributor, dropping a triple-double on 14 points, ten assists, and 15 steals.
Sickles has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season. As for Alonso, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-15.
