Baseball Game Preview: Osakis Silverstreaks vs. Browerville Tigers

Osakis is on a four-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Browerville a four-game streak of away losses also dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Osakis Silverstreaks will look to defend their home field against the Browerville Tigers at 4:30 p.m.

Osakis managed to slip by St. Cloud Cathedral the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Silverstreaks came up short against the Crusaders on Monday, falling 8-1.

Browerville let Ashby stack five runs on them in the seventh inning on Thursday but luckily Browerville prevailed anyway. The Tigers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-7 win over the Arrows. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Arrows: they've now won four in a row.

The win got Browerville back to even at 1-1. As for Osakis, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Osakis took their victory against Browerville when the teams last played back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 10-4 score. Will the Silverstreaks repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
