Baseball Recap: Charlotte Fightin' Tarpons vs. Redan Raiders
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Blessed Trinity, Charlotte was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the Redan Raiders by a score of 8-5. The victory was some much needed relief for the Fightin' Tarpons as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Charlotte got a great performance from Race McDaniel as he pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. McDaniel has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
