Carroll better keep an eye on Carly Davison. She was instrumental in Clinton Central's win, going 6 of 7 on her way to 15 points in addition to seven assists and five steals. Davison's evening made it six games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Abby Harris was another key player, putting up nine points.

Clinton Central was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Eastern only posted one assist.

Clinton Central pushed their record up to 17-5 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.7 points per game. As for Carroll, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season.

Carroll didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Clinton Central when the teams last played back in November of 2024, but they still walked away with a 40-34 victory. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Davison, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and ten boards.
