Softball Recap: Conroe Beats Caney Creek for Their 12th Straight Win

Conroe came tearing into Saturday's game with 11 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Caney Creek Panthers as they made off with a 16-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won 14 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Conroe's victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 22-5. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Caney Creek, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-21.
