Soccer Recap: North Mecklenburg Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Berry on Monday, North Mecklenburg came back down to earth. The Vikings fell 5-3 to the East Mecklenburg Eagles on Tuesday. If North Mecklenburg were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to East Mecklenburg when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

North Mecklenburg hit East Mecklenburg with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Junior Zuniga, Julian Caillet, and Asael Portillo-Gallo.

North Mecklenburg's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for East Mecklenburg, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Mecklenburg will venture away from home to square off against South Rowan at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for East Mecklenburg, they will head out to face off against Mallard Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
