Floresville came tearing into Friday's match with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the John F. Kennedy Rockets. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers/Jaguars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Floresville took both sets by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-11.

Makenna Hertless paced Floresville's offense, picking up ten kills. Hertless got some help from Maddie Harden and her 12 assists. Emily Hutchinson controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Floresville's victory bumped their record up to 10-5. As for John F. Kennedy, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

Floresville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against McMullen County on the 22nd. As for John F. Kennedy, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Falls City on the 22nd.
