Baseball Recap: Jackson Center Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Jackson Center's offense. They lost 9-0 to the Fort Loramie Redskins on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Redskins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-1 back in April.

This is the second loss in a row for Jackson Center and nudges their season record down to 6-11. As for Fort Loramie, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-7.

Coming up, Jackson Center will face off against Fairlawn at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Jets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.21 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Fort Loramie, they will square off against Russia at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Redskins will need to watch out since the Raiders have now posted at least ten runs in their last four matchups.
