Soccer Recap: Rifle's Undefeated Season over After Three Games + How To Watch

After flying high against Grand Valley last Saturday, Rifle came back down to earth. The Bears fell just short of the Montrose Red Hawks by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Rifle couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Malquane Mckoy, who's now up to six this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Rifle fell to 2-1. As for Montrose, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Rifle didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Palisade on the 3rd. As for Montrose, they have also already played their next game, a 1-1 draw against Delta on the 2nd.
