Basketball Recap: Kenzlie Guhn Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Port Clinton

After losing to Port Clinton the last time they met, Clyde decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Clyde Fliers secured a 50-46 W over the Port Clinton Redskins on Saturday.

Clyde got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kenzlie Guhn out in front who went 7 of 16 en route to 20 points. The dominant performance also gave Guhn a new career-high in assists (four). Taitum Jeffrey was another key player, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 12 boards.

The victory got Clyde back to even at 9-9. As for Port Clinton, they dropped their record down to 10-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clyde will head out to face off against Edison at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Port Clinton has already played their next game (against Perkins), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
