Volleyball Recap: Humphreys Able Charter Takes a Loss

Humphreys Able Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Vanguard College Prep Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-18, 25-12.

Vanguard College Prep got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Anelise Campos out in front who had five aces. Those five aces gave Campos a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ingrid Rosas, who had six kills and two aces.

Humphreys Able Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Vanguard College Prep, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-8 record this season.

Humphreys Able Charter will take on Delta Charter at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Vanguard College Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
