Soccer Game Preview: Juab vs. Manti

Juab hasn't had much luck against Manti recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Juab Wasps will be playing in front of their home fans against the Manti Templars at 4:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Juab came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 5-2 to West Jordan. The loss was the Wasps' first of the season.

Nixon Curtis wasn't going to let West Jordan walk away unscathed as he scored both of Juab's goals, bringing his season total up to five goals.

Meanwhile, Manti came up short against American Fork on Friday, falling 7-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Templars were already down 4-1.

This is the second loss in a row for Manti and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Juab, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
