Volleyball Game Preview: Pocono Mountain West Panthers vs. Liberty Hurricanes

The Pocono Mountain West Panthers will face off against the Liberty Hurricanes at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Pocono Mountain West lost 3-0 to Emmaus on Wednesday. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Hornets: they've now lost three in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-18, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Liberty had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Notre Dame-Green Pond 3-2.

Liberty wouldn't go down easily and took Notre Dame-Green Pond into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-19, 22-25, 22-25, 15-12.

Pocono Mountain West's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Liberty, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
