Volleyball Game Preview: Tidewater Academy Warriors vs. Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot Knights

Tidewater Academy hasn't had much luck against Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Warriors will host the Knights at 6:00 p.m.

Tidewater Academy came up short against Amelia Academy on Thursday, falling 3-0.

While Tidewater Academy ultimately came up short, they really made Amelia Academy work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 26-24, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot hadn't done well against Fuqua recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Knights put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 3-0 win.

While Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Fuqua scored at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-22, 28-25.

Tidewater Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.
