Kaden Hawksworth gave up the fewest hits he has since back in April of 2024 on Tuesday. He did his part (and then some), striking out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits (and only one walk) for the 'W'.

Hawksworth's strong effort led Chesterton over Merrillville and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
