Softball Recap: Augusta Takes a Loss

Augusta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 17-0 to the Brinkley Tigers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Red Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Augusta's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Brinkley, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Augusta didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 21-6 victory against Clarendon on the 8th. Brinkley has also already played their next matchup (against Bradford), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
