Basketball Recap: Ladysmith Comes Up Short

Ladysmith has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They lost to the Cumberland Beavers at home by a 82-64 margin on Thursday. The Lumberjacks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Beavers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Ladysmith's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Cumberland, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 8-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ladysmith will head out to challenge St. Croix Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cumberland, they will square off against Cameron at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
