Softball Recap: Grapevine Faith Christian Takes a Loss

Grapevine Faith Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 7-2 to the Southwest Christian School Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 8-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2023.

Grapevine Faith Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Southwest Christian School, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5-1 record this season.

While Grapevine Faith Christian had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
