With a playoff win on the line, Newfane rose to the challenge on Friday. They claimed a resounding 38-0 win over the Silver Creek/Forestville Central Black Knights. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won seven matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.

Mac Capen continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 184 yards and a pair of scores on only eight carries. His longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards.

Newfane's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-0. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.2 points on average over those games. As for Silver Creek/Forestville Central, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

Newfane didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 28-20 victory against Wilson on the 13th. Silver Creek/Forestville Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
