Basketball Recap: Coral Shores Takes a Loss

Coral Shores was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by the Goleman Gators 71-17. The match marked the Hurricanes' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

It was another big night for Franki Sosa, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten boards for Goleman. With that strong performance, Sosa is now averaging an impressive 2.6 steals per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylon Hall, who posted five points and five steals.

Coral Shores' loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Goleman, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Coral Shores will head out to square off against Key West at 7:00 p.m. on December 17th. As for Goleman, they will welcome Braddock at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
