Preview: Lindsay Knights vs. Era Hornets
Lindsay is 9-1 against Era since December of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Lindsay Knights will be playing at home against the Era Hornets at 8:00 p.m. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Lindsay has struggled recently with four losses in a row, while Era will arrive with four straight victories.
On Tuesday, Lindsay lost to Collinsville at home by a decisive 58-39 margin.
Even though Era has not done well against Muenster recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Era came out on top against Muenster by a score of 59-47. 59 seems to be a good number for Era as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Lindsay has been struggling recently as they've lost 15 of their last 16 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-20 record this season. As for Era, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-12 record this season.
