On Saturday, Kamehameha Kapalama faced Konawaena in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Kamehameha Kapalama Warriors claimed a resounding 74-39 victory over the Konawaena Wildcats. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 30 points or more this season.

Kamehameha Kapalama pushed their record up to 5-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.0 points per game. As for Konawaena, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8.

Coincidentally, Kamehameha Kapalama and Konawaena will both be playing Kohala the next time they take the court. Kamehameha Kapalama will head out to face Kohala at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Konawaena will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
