Soccer Recap: Thatcher's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak on the Road

After soaring to eight goals the game before, Thatcher was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They fell 3-1 to the Pusch Ridge Christian Academy Lions. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2022.

Thatcher's goal came courtesy of Luke Marble, who's now up to three this season.

Thatcher's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-5-1. As for Pusch Ridge Christian Academy, their record is now 3-6.

Thatcher didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-0 win against Coolidge on the 13th. Pusch Ridge Christian Academy has also already played their next matchup, a 5-4 victory against Sabino on the 15th.
