Basketball Recap: King William Comes Up Short

King William was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 68-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Nottoway Cougars.

King William's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Nottoway, their win bumped their record up to 5-8.

King William will head out to square off against King & Queen Central at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. King & Queen Central is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.6 points per game this season. As for Nottoway, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Lunenburg Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lunenburg Central will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Nottoway surely won't give up without a fight.
