Softball Recap: Tuesday's Defeat Ends West Plains' Winning Streak

It was a good run, but West Plains unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 14-4 to the Dumas Demons. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Wolves have suffered since March 4th.

Emory Chancler made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-3. Brooklynn Diaz was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

West Plains' defeat dropped their record down to 12-14-1. As for Dumas, the victory (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 28-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. West Plains is set to take on their familiar foe Canyon at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Dumas will square off against rival Pampa at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
