Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mountain Empire). They took their contest on Saturday with ease, bagging a 64-12 victory over the Borrego Springs Rams. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Redhawks as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Mountain Empire's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Borrego Springs, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
