Volleyball Recap: Westview Has No Trouble Against Mohave + How To Watch

Westview won the last time they faced Mohave and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Knights blew past the Thunderbirds 3-0.

While Westview might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Mohave scored at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-21, 25-20.

Ayla-Grace Morris paced Westview's offense, picking up seven kills. Morris got some help from Taylor Betenson and her four assists. Betenson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Despite the loss, Mohave still got an impressive performance from Miley Anderson, who had ten assists and six digs.

Westview's record is now 2-0. As for Mohave, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coming up, Westview will head out to take on La Joya Community at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mohave, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Agua Fria on the 4th.
