Volleyball Recap: Esperanza Takes a Loss

Esperanza was the 3-0 winner over Pacifica when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Aztecs fell just short of the Mariners by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday.

Esperanza started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 25-27, 26-28, 25-20, 25-17, 15-9.

Esperanza's loss dropped their record down to 6-12-1. As for Pacifica, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-11.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Esperanza will take on rival El Modena at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Pacifica is set to face off against their familiar foe Brea Olinda at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
