If Panther Creek was riding high fresh off their 64-43 takedown of Green Hope last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panther Creek Catamounts fell 52-43 to the Apex Friendship Patriots on Wednesday. The Catamounts' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Several Catamounts players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Korey Smith, who posted ten points. Savion Mitchell was another key player, putting up six points.

Panther Creek's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-6. As for Apex Friendship, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-4.

Panther Creek will be playing in front of their home fans against Holly Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Apex Friendship, they will face off against Cary at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
