St. Paul is 0-1 against Boone Central since October of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The St. Paul Wildcats will look to defend their home field against the Boone Central Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. St. Paul will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Nebraska Rankings (they are ranked 85th, while Boone Central is ranked fourth).

After soaring to 46 points the game before, St. Paul were a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They had to suffer through a rough 44-7 loss at the hands of Central City.

Meanwhile, Boone Central put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their undefeated season alive. They walked away with a 26-14 victory over Pierce.

JAMES FOGLEMAN looked great while leading his team to the win, rushing for 156 yards and two touchdowns. PARKER BORER was another key contributor, rushing for 104 yards and two touchdowns.

St. Paul's defeat was their fifth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 2-6. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged four points per game. As for Boone Central, their victory on Friday bumped their record up to 8-0.

St. Paul was dealt a bruising 48-0 defeat at the hands of Boone Central in their previous meeting back in October of 2022.
