Baseball Recap: Mt. Pleasant Comes Up Short

Mt. Pleasant extended their losing streak to four on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 9-9 in the process. They came up short against the Juanita Sanchez Complex Cavaliers, falling 8-0. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Kilties were not able to get on the board.

As for Juanita Sanchez Complex, they pushed their record up to 9-6 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games.

For Juanita Sanchez Complex's part, the team relied heavily on Isaiah Bento-Vasquez, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Enmanual Martinez, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.
