Basketball Recap: Southeast Bulloch Takes a Loss

Southeast Bulloch lost against Groves back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets fell 61-50 to the Groves Rebels. The Yellow Jackets just can't catch a break and have now endured six defeats in a row.

Groves' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jamel Flaggs led the charge by putting up 14 points. Another player making a difference was Cameron Jenkins, who posted 11 points.

Southeast Bulloch's record is now 2-20. As for Groves, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-15.

Southeast Bulloch will head out on the road to face off against Jenkins at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Groves has already played their next contest, a 53-50 loss against Beach on the 4th.
