Baseball Game Preview: Forest Area Warriors vs. Boyne Falls Loggers

The Forest Area Warriors will head out to square off against the Boyne Falls Loggers at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses apiece.

On Tuesday, Forest Area didn't have quite enough to beat Central Lake and fell 6-5.

Meanwhile, Boyne Falls lost 16-1 to Ellsworth on Tuesday.

Boyne Falls saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was George Gerred, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Forest Area's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Boyne Falls, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.

Forest Area beat Boyne Falls 9-5 in their previous meeting back in April of 2017. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Loggers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
