Recap: Lowcountry Leadership NaviGators vs. Military Magnet Academy Eagles
This season hasn't been kind to the Lowcountry Leadership NaviGators, who are still winless after their 15th match. They had to suffer through a rough 89-3 loss at the hands of Military Magnet Academy. Lowcountry Leadership was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 62-3.
It was another big night for Dream Watson, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 15 steals for Military Magnet Academy. Watson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 11 games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Dejamari Choppa Pugh, who scored 20 points along with seven steals.
Lowcountry Leadership's defeat was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Military Magnet Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lowcountry Leadership won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Islanders at 6:00 p.m. on January 31st. As for Military Magnet Academy, they will be playing at home against the Bulldogs at 7:00 a.m. on Friday. Burke will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps South Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 128th, while the Eagles are ranked 34th).
