Softball Recap: Kettle Moraine Comes Up Short

Kettle Moraine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Whitnall Falcons, falling 11-3.

Briella Hack was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run. The team also got some help courtesy of Ady Sallmann, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Kettle Moraine's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Whitnall, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Kettle Moraine wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 9-2 win against Burlington on the 12th. As for Whitnall, they will take on Cudahy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
