Basketball Recap: Forest Park Falls Short of Poly in the Playoffs

Forest Park and Poly squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Forest Park had to settle for second. The contest between the Forest Park Foresters and the Poly Engineers didn't end well, with the Forest Park Foresters falling 56-41. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Foresters, who until this match were averaging 26.21 points allowed.

Several Foresters players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was INDIA WATKINS, who to rack up 14 points and five boards. Those five rebounds gave WATKINS a new career-high. MCKENZIE FITZGERALD was another key player, putting up 14 points and four steals.

Forest Park's defeat dropped their record down to 19-5. As for Poly, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-9.
