Recap: Graham Red Devils vs. Southern Alamance Patriots
The Graham Red Devils lost against the Southern Alamance Patriots on December 1st, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Graham was outmatched by Southern Alamance at home and fell 55-18. Graham was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-4.
Morgan Isley continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Southern Alamance, dropping a double-double on 28 points and 18 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Isley has scored at least 25% of Southern Alamance's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Brouillard, who scored three points along with seven assists and seven rebounds.
Graham's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Southern Alamance, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-4.
Graham will be home for the holidays to greet Eno River at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Eno River has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Southern Alamance won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Enloe at 6:00 p.m. on December 20th. Enloe comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last five games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
