Basketball Recap: Madill Comes Up Short

If Madill was riding high fresh off their 45-22 takedown of Dickson on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats fell 51-46 to the Lone Grove Longhorns on Tuesday. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Longhorns apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February.

Madill's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Lone Grove, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Madill will face off against Hugo at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lone Grove, they will square off against Holdenville at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday.
