Baseball Recap: Valencia Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Valencia took on Montezuma-Cortez on Thursday. Valencia lost 13-3 to Montezuma-Cortez. That's two games in a row now that the Jaguars have lost by exactly ten runs.

This is the second loss in a row for Valencia and nudges their season record down to 7-6. As for Montezuma-Cortez, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Valencia will face off against Grants at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The match will give Valencia their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Montezuma-Cortez, they will be taking part in a tournament against Smoky Hill at 9:00 a.m. on April 4.
