Volleyball Game Preview: Glendale Nitros vs. Crescenta Valley Falcons

Glendale is 0-10 against Crescenta Valley since October of 2019 but things could change on Tuesday. The Nitros will challenge the Falcons at 3:45 p.m.

Glendale had taken Pasadena down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Thursday. The Nitros lost 3-0 to the Bulldogs.

Glendale was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-9, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Crescenta Valley had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. Everything went their way against the Centaurs as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Falcons not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 25th (when they won 3-0).

Crescenta Valley walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-17, 25-11, 25-20.

Crescenta Valley's victory bumped their record up to 19-11. As for Glendale, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

Glendale came up short against Crescenta Valley in their previous matchup on September 4th, falling 3-1. Can the Nitros avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
