Soccer Recap: Humphreys Able Charter Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Humphreys Able Charter was not quite Aspire Langston Hughes Academy's equal in the second half on Friday. They fell 3-1 to the Aspire Langston Hughes Academy Titans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Legacy this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-1 back in January.

Humphreys Able Charter's loss dropped their record down to 3-5-4. As for Aspire Langston Hughes Academy, their record is now 6-8-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Humphreys Able Charter will venture away from home to face off against Ben Holt College Prep Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Humphreys Able Charter's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Aspire Langston Hughes Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge Vanguard College Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
