Volleyball Recap: Whitfield Comes Up Short

Whitfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Westminster Christian Wildcats. The Warriors were not able to make up for their loss to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Westminster Christian can attribute much of their success to Rachel Buchanan, who had eight digs and three assists.

Whitfield's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Westminster Christian, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-4-1.

Whitfield wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against North Point on the 27th. As for Westminster Christian, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Troy-Buchanan on the 27th.
