Chippewa Valley came out on top against Grosse Pointe North on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run second inning. The Big Reds were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over the Norsemen. The game was the first time the Big Reds have beaten the Norsemen on their field since May 7, 2024.

Nate Hall was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two RBI.

Chippewa Valley's victory bumped their record up to 18-14-2. As for Grosse Pointe North, their loss dropped their record down to 8-25-1.

Chippewa Valley and Grosse Pointe North could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings.
